Inspired by the sunlight loving tree. The black cherry tree has beautiful, oval, shiny leaves that glisten in the sun. In the spring as they emerge and as they fade at the end of fall they are a dark red-orange.  

What better metal to represent the colors of these leaves than copper?  The metal has been shaped and textured by hand to mimic the natural curl and veining of the individual leaves. 

These earrings were designed to reflect the charm of the black cherry tree and highlight one of our native species.
